Training on animal slaughter during Eid at Panchbibi

A lot of water should be fed to the animals that will be sacrificed from the day before Eid. Sacrificial animals must be bathed well the day before Eid, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Hasan Ali gave an advisory speech at the Eid animal slaughtering training workshop organized by Panchbibi Upazila Administration of Joypurhat. The training workshop was held in the Upazila Parishad conference room with 30 leather traders of the upazila throughout the day on Wednesday.

This training was organized to raise the awareness of all the leather traders of the upazila about animal slaughtering, preservation of leather and proper application of salt provided free of charge during the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha. The chief guest of the program, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kaspia Tasrin told the leather traders that everyone should be careful not to damage the skin of the sacrificial animal in any way. UNO Mahdoy also said that how to preserve leather will be shown through the projector. Dr. Faisal Rabbi, surgeon of Upazila Animal Veterinary Hospital, also spoke about animal slaughter in the workshop.Aktar Hossain Bakul
