Jamaat workshop with A-League workers

Durgapur (Netrakona)

An election training workshop organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held in the auditorium of the local Susang Government College in Durgapur, Netrokona with the workers of various localities. The workshop was organized by Durgapur Upazila Branch on Saturday (October 18) at noon.

It has been seen on the ground that the next national parliamentAmir Maulana Abdur Razzak of Bangladesh Jamaate-e-Islami Durgapur Upazila branch presided over the election with responsible leaders and activists of Jamaate-e-Islami at the field level and Awami League leaders of various unions, general secretary Qutub Uddin.

A senior lecturer of the college, who did not want to be named, said that it is a government college. Principal cannot allow a political party to hold a meeting in the college auditorium on Saturday, a public holiday. I have not heard of giving permission as a senior teacher.

About thisWhen I spoke to the college principal on the phone, he hung up the phone saying that he is busy knowing the identity of the journalist and will talk about it later. After several phone calls, he did not pick up.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Afroza Afsana said that there is no rule to hold any meeting of political parties in the government college auditorium. No permission has been given by us in this regard. I don’t know how the principal gave permission. The matter will be looked into.
