BGB – BSF helped to show the body of the Indian citizen to the relatives of the Bangladeshi

(November 7) Friday night at approximately 11:30 an Indian citizen of Gopalganj police station in Malda district.

Deceased Selina Begum (70). The deceased died of old age. On receiving the news, the deceased’s brother, who lives in Bangladesh, is the son of Muslim Uddin of Shibganj upazila Bagichapara villageTofazzal Haq. His relatives in Chapainawabganj applied to BGB to see the body. Following the application of the said citizen, the BGB immediately contacted the counterpart BSF and with the consent of both parties, arrangements were made to view the body at the international border. As a result today (November 8) at 10:40 am the border pillar of Azmatpur BOP area under Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB)In the presence of BGB-BSF at the zero line near 182/2-S, the body of the deceased was shown and the Bangladeshi relatives were overwhelmed with emotion after seeing the body and were satisfied to see their relative for the last time and expressed gratitude to the BGB.
In this regard, the commander of Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) Lt Col Golam Kibria, BGBM, BGOM confirmed the truth of the matter. He said, BGB is very humane and suchVery sympathetic to humanitarian work. BGB has been performing all kinds of humanitarian work as a fundamental duty and will continue to do so in the future.
