A child died after a battery-operated auto overturned in Bhangura.

A child named Amina Khatun (8) died after falling under the burek of Helencha village of Khanmarich union in Bhangura upazila of Pabna. The daughter of Md. Akbar Hossain of Helencha village of Khanmarich union on Monday November 10 around 07:00 pm, her father brought three sacks of cement from the market as it was getting dark in the evening and turned the car key on.The little boy turned on the key and pulled the pickup when the car overturned and fell into the pond. He was immediately rescued and taken to Bhangura Upazila Health Complex for treatment, but the doctor on duty sent him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment and the doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhangura Police Station Md. Shafiqul Islam confirmed this information.Officer OC Safiqul Islam said that the police visited the scene after receiving the news. As the family of the deceased did not file a written complaint, the relatives of the deceased were allowed to bury the body.
