BNP press conference in Dumki Upazila to protest the misleading statement about Altaf Hossain Chowdhury.

Dumki Upazila BNP has held a press conference to protest against the misleading statement about BNP Vice Chairman former Minister Air Vice Marshal (retd) Alhaj Altaf Hossain Chowdhury. The press conference was held at the temporary office of Upazila BNP, adjacent to Pobiprobi main gate, at 7 pm on Saturday. Upazila BNPMotiur Rahman Dipu read a written statement signed by former acting general secretary and member Md. Jasim Uddin Howladar and former joint convener Md. Motiur Rahman Dipu. He complained that in the press conference organized by Patuakhali district BNP on November 27, false, fabricated and misleading statements were made about BNP nominated candidate of Patuakhali-1 constituency, Alhaj Altaf Hossain Chowdhury. Altaf HossainChowdhury stood by the leaders and activists for 16 years with 25 false cases in mind during the previous fascist Awami League government. Awami terrorist forces attacked his Patuakhali residence numerous times. He spent 19 months in jail along with BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in 1/11 big pond lie case and 5.5 months in 2024 farce – pre-election conspiratorial lie case.During the previous government, he appeared in court more than 800 times in various false cases.
He also said that the hope of the Trinamool leaders and the public at all levels has been reflected by the nomination of Alhaj Altaf Hossain Chowdhury in the Patuakhali-1 constituency. Finally, Altaf Hossain Chowdhury thanked everyone and called them to work unitedly for the grain of rice.
Meanwhile, the upazila and various unions- Leaders and activists of BNP and affiliated organizations were present.
