
Indian relatives found the Bangladeshi’s body through Mahananda Battalion 59 BGB

Tara Banu (75), wife of deceased Shamsul Haque of village Chapainawabganj Shibganj Binodpur Zaminpur, died due to old age at 9 o’clock on December 8. After receiving the news, the deceased’s daughter, Mosha Maleka Begum (40), who lives in Dushatdighi village in Malda district in India, applied to BGB through BSF to see her mother’s dead body. In response to that request, the Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) immediately took a decision to show the bodies of the Indian nationals. In continuation of this yesterday (December 09) at 8:30 in the morning on Tuesday, the body of the deceased was shown in the presence of BGB-BSF in the presence of BGB-BSF near border pillar 179/3-S in the responsible area of Kiranganj BOP of Shibganj border. Seeing the dead mother’s body for the last time, Indian relatives expressed their gratitude to BGB and Bangladesh.
In this regard, the commander of Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) Lt Col Golam Kibria, BGBM, BGOM confirmed the truth of the matter. he saidBGB is sympathetic to any humanitarian cause.
