
Infernal rampages in residences in Rajbari – destruction of crops – gold ornaments and looting
Capitalizing on a land dispute, an influential gang carried out a hellish rampage at a farmer’s house in Padmadi area of Nawabpur union in Baliakandi upazila of Rajbari. Meanwhile, the whole house was attacked, vandalized including refrigerator, television valuables, cot, dressing table, sofa set, soketch, hari-patil, carpet-tosh, bedding, goods vandalized, field crops were damaged and looted. The goods, including the gold ornaments in the house, were brought to the light of day. In this incident, a case has been registered at Baliakandi Police Station, but the accused are still at large.
A heart-rending scene was seen at the house of the affected farmer on Tuesday morning. At the entrance of the house, the large tin shed walled house with its tin rice, plastered walls all damaged with native weapons including Ramada, Shabal. Upon entering the room, the furniture in each room was broken and smashed. Most of the furniture, including fridges, television sets and dressing tables and sofas, were vandalized and hacked to death. Rice, pulses, dishes, dishes, clothes are all scattered and made one.
