Another year has passed by Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprobi). The university, known as the center of higher education in South Bengal, has had an eventful year for this university. The beginning of the month of April at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprabi) was full of festive and lively atmosphere. Last April 12, Saturday, the entrance examination for the 2024-2025 academic year of Krishi Cluster was conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner at Pabiprabi. A two-month long training workshop titled “Training Program on Journalism and Communication” organized jointly by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Pobiprobi Journalists Association has concluded. The workshop was officially concluded on Saturday, July 19 with a closing ceremony held in the Agriculture Conference Room. The students of Animal Husbandry discipline have held a program for the second day demanding the elimination of discrimination in the livestock sector and the introduction of ‘combined degree’ at the undergraduate level. At noon on Thursday, July 31, the students took a stand in front of the administration building and handed over a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor after the protest march. The operation was conducted on the campus from morning to noon on August 17 following the allegation of embezzlement of about two and a half crore taka against two officials of the loan department of the university.
