“Monthly Meeting of Upazila Law and Order Committee” held at Chilmari, Kurigram. A discussion meeting was held on Tuesday (May 19) at 11 am in the Upazila Parishad meeting room under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Mahmudul Hasan. At that time, the upazila executive officer said that the upazila law and order situation is good with the overall cooperation of the upazila administration, police administration and other departments. We want this trend to continue. To ensure the overall security of the upazila, everyone must work together, he said. He also said that strict measures should be taken against all kinds of social crimes including drugs, online gambling, abuse of women and children, child marriage, sand mining, reckless driving on roads, robbery by sea, use of fake notes while buying cows and he instructed all the concerned departments to be proactive. Chilmari Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nayan Kumar also spoke at this time. He said that to ensure the overall security of upazila law and order, everyone must work together. And he asked for everyone’s cooperation to keep Chilmari upazila free from vandalism and drugs.
