Maximum vigilance to prevent BGB pushin and smuggling in Parashuram

BGB is on high alert to prevent pushin and smuggling at Parashuram border north of Feni. Feni Battalion (4 BGB) has always been performing its duties with professionalism, vigilance and determination to protect the border security and sovereignty of India-Bangladesh.

Due to the increased fear of illegal infiltration (Pushin) in the border area centered on the West Bengal elections in India, Feni Battalion has issued a high alert along the 102 km border area under its responsibility. It is learned that the BGB is in a strict position to prevent illegal smuggling and illegal infiltration in the border area.

BGB said in a press release at 11 am on Sunday, May 10, that 24-hour patrolling and surveillance have been strengthened at important points on the border and special instructions have been given to all BOP and patrol teams.

Simultaneously, additional mobile patrols, foot patrols, special operations and close monitoring of important and suspicious points are being conducted in the border areas.

In particular, intelligence surveillance has been increased to prevent the smuggling of drugs, cattle, various Indian products and other contraband and the BGB members are relentlessly performing their duties to ensure that no person can enter Bangladesh illegally through the border.

Feni 4 BGB Commander Lt. Col. MM Zillur Rahman, said, Feni Battalion (4 BGB) strongly believes that the cooperation and awareness of people in the border areas play a very important role in ensuring border security.

For this reason, coordination has been increased with local public representatives, dignitaries and the border public so that information can be obtained quickly about any suspicious person, movement or activity. Also, all those living in the border area are urged to report any information related to illegal infiltration, smuggling or border crime to the nearest BGB camp.Feni Battalion (4 BGB) is always determined and determined to take all necessary measures to ensure border security and safeguard the sovereignty, security and law and order of the country.
