At the reception–Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milan MP

Chatke South West Saleh Ahmad School and College announced the construction of an academic building at a cost of Tk 3 crore.
BNP Central Co-Organizing Secretary, Sunamganj District BNP Convener and Member of Parliament for Chatak-Doarabazar Constituency Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milan said, South West Saleh Ahmad School and College is a traditional institution.

Since its inception, the institution has been progressing towards its goals with great reputation. I am hopeful that the cherished dreams of the people of the area will be fulfilled through this institution. He will make every effort for the development of the organization.

Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milan MP announced the construction of an academic building with furniture at a cost of Tk 3 crore for the development of the institution. He also said to build a common room for female students. Besides, he has announced to give a grant of 5 lakh taka for paving school and college grounds, 1 lakh taka for sports equipment for students and 1 lakh taka for laboratory.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a reception given to him at South West Saleh Ahmad School and College run by South West Welfare Trust.

Nasim Hossain, chairman of the board of trustees of the institution and former president of Sylhet Metropolitan BNP, presided over the reception organized at the college premises at 11 am on Sunday (June 14).

Vice Principal of South West Saleh Ahmad School and College Hasan Ahmed spoke as special guests, Principal of Gobindganj Abdul Haque Smriti Degree College (Acting) Shah Shafiqul Alam Moti, politician Samchur Rahman Babul, veteran freedom fighter, UK expatriate Alhaj Sueb Mia Talukder, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ruhul Amin Talukder, Qeesh Ahmad, Michaba uz Zaman Shilu, student guardian former member Abdur Rahim, Ala Uddin. School and College Principal Mahmud Ali delivered the welcome speech.

Mahima Marzabin Noora and Sonali Das Shreya spoke on behalf of the students at the reception.At the beginning of the program, Holy Quran was recited by student Arifa Akhtar Liza and Gita was recited by Rajdeep Das.

After arriving at the event, the chief guest was felicitated by the educational institution with a memento, a certificate read to him and a bouquet of flowers. Meanwhile, the special guest of the program is community leader,Heroic freedom fighter Suaib Ahmad Talukder donated Rs 1 lakh in cash to South West Welfare Trust.
