Repainting of speed breakers on Shimrailkandi-Bijayanagar road is underway.

“Green and Clean Brahmanbaria” has conducted the program of putting warning colors and markings on various speed breakers on the Shimrailkandi to Vijayanagar road in Brahmanbaria to avoid untoward accidents on the road.

For a long time, various vehicles were facing accidents especially at night due to lack of visible markings or colors on road speed breakers. Taking this into consideration, every speed breaker is given a special color and warning signs as an initiative of the organization to keep the traffic safe and normal.

The organizers said,This initiative has been taken to warn the drivers in advance and reduce the risk of accidents on the road. Local residents also applauded the initiative and termed it as a positive public awareness initiative.
