Apu of South Railway Bagan was attacked in the dark of night, some of the accused gymkhanas.

Mohammad Raihan Hossain, a resident of South Relibagan area of ​​Narayanganj city, filed a written complaint with Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station alleging armed attack, attempted abduction, beating and snatching of goods against some persons of Apu Gymkhana area.

According to the complaint, Apu was on his way to Mandalpara Pharmacy to buy medicine for urgent needs at approximately 1:20 p.m. on June 2, 2026. On the way, when he reached the area adjacent to the City Corporation garage, the accused Md. Apu Hossain, Md. Ashiq Ahmed Mithu, Khorshed Mia, Mizan, Caesar Rabbi, Shakil and 15-20 other unidentified persons stopped his movement, it has been mentioned in the complaint.

The victim claimed that the accused premeditated the gang, surrounded him and tried to forcibly take him to the new gymnasium area. At that time, they had Chinese axes, iron rods, batons and other native weapons in their hands, according to the complaint.
According to the written complaint, accused Md. Apu Hossain is the son of Bachchu Mia and is known locally as the administrative patron of drug dealers. His brother Md Ashiq Ahmed Mithu is also alleged to be involved in the incident. It is also mentioned in the complaint that Ashiq Ahmed Mithu was involved in Sramik League politics in the past and conducted various activities posing as a journalist.

Besides, Khorshed Mia has been accused of being involved in usury business for a long time. In the complaint, he is known locally as a usury dealer. Mizan has been accused of involvement in terrorist activities.
The written complaint further states that the accused Caesar Rabbi is an alleged drug dealer and is alleged to have tried to influence the area by identifying himself as close to influential political figures. It is also claimed that there are several cases against him in Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station, including arrests in domestic weapons and drug related incidents. Besides, Shakeel has also been accused of involvement in terrorist activities.

The complaint states,At one stage accused Md. Apu Hossain hit Apu’s forehead hard with the lower part of the Chinese ax in his hand.
The side of his eye swelled and he was seriously injured. It is alleged that later the other accused started repeatedly hitting different parts of the body with iron rods and indigenous weapons.

It is also said in the complaint that SI Shafiqul Islam on duty in Mandalpara Bridge area and the policemen who were with him reached the spot and rescued him when he screamed in fear during the attack. At that time, the accused Shakil pushed him and threw him away, it has been mentioned in the complaint.

The victim claimed that even in the presence of the police, the accused continued to behave in an agitated manner. According to the complaint, the accused Khorshed Mia said in front of the police, “We can lift, we can also bring down.”
Apu also alleged that his smart mobile phone, wallet and bank ATM card were taken away during the attack. He claimed that if the police had not arrived, the accused could have abducted him or caused more serious harm.

Later he was taken to Narayanganj General (Victoria) Hospital with the help of a local person. After receiving treatment there, he filed a written complaint at Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station.

After filing the complaint, SI Ramzan Hossain of Sadar Model Police Station has been assigned the responsibility of investigating the matter. The victim demanded legal action against the accused, speedy arrest and safety of himself and his family.However, these allegations against the accused have been presented on the basis of the written complaint of the complainant.
