OC’s important exchange with Muslims during Friday prayers in Mohanganj

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mohanganj Police Station has taken an exceptional and commendable initiative to prevent social crimes, protect religious harmony and maintain law and order in Mohanganj, Netrakona.
Today 05 June 2026 AD (Friday) after the holy Friday prayers, he met with a large number of Muslims present at Mohanganj Town Jame Masjid in a special exchange meeting.
During the exchange of views, Mr. OC gave a very heart-warming discussion on various important and awareness-raising issues for the Muslims present. He especially urged children to be educated in moral education and said, “Today’s children are tomorrow’s future. So the family has to play the biggest role in keeping them away from serious crimes like drugs, gambling, eve teasing, child marriage and juvenile gangs.”
The main points that came up in the discussion were:
Anti-Social Crimes: Everyone is urged to be aware of the evils of drugs, gambling and juvenile gangs.
Non-violence: Advocacy to resolve land-acquisition disputes through legal means rather than taking the law into one’s own hands.
Religious Harmony: The urge to maintain mutual respect without offending the religion of others.
​Awareness: The evils of social ills like suicide, and a request to keep a watchful eye on the Orsh or Mazar Sharif so that no untoward incident takes place.
At the end of the speech, Mr. OC concluded his speech by wishing happiness, peace and well-being to all the Muslims present and the people of Mohanganj. Common people present have highly applauded such people-oriented and positive initiative of the administration.
