Bangabandhu Parishad New York Chapter mourns death of Bangabandhu’s close associate and former minister Tofail Ahmed

Sakhawat Ali, president and general secretary of Bangabandhu Parishad New York Chapter on behalf of Bangabandhu Parishad New York Chapter on the death of one of the great heroes of 1969 mass uprising, prominent parliamentarian of the subcontinent, close companion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former minister, advisor and former presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League, one of the organizers of the great liberation war, national hero Tofail Ahmed. Subrata Talukder in a statement expressed deep grief and condolences to the bereaved family.

They said in the statement, Tofail Ahmed is a bright star in the history of Bangladesh. He fought for the liberation of Bengalis all his life. The Great Liberation War, Bangabandhu’s ideals and non-communal Bangladesh never compromised.Bangladesh and the Bengali nation will forever remember his contribution with respect. On behalf of Bangabandhu Parishad New York Chapter, the great leader’s departed soul is wished for peace and condolences to the bereaved family.
