Chapainawabganj, 21 people were arrested in a special police operation, Yaba-Ganja and Cholai liquor were recovered

District Police conducted anti-narcotics operation, Warrant Tamil and special operation to arrest accused in various cases in Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station area. A total of 21 people were arrested in the operation. Yaba tablets, ganja and brewed liquor were also recovered.

This special operation was conducted under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Gautam Kumar Biswas on Friday (June 5) from 7:30 pm to night. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) S.M. Wasim Feroz, Additional Superintendent of Police (Nawabganj Sadar Circle). Yasir Arafat, officer in charge of Sadar Model Police Station. Ekramul Hossain and various levels of police officials.

According to the police, a total of 21 people including 6 drug dealers, 10 drug addicts, 1 person under CR warrant, 3 under warrant and 1 accused of regular case were arrested in the operation.

Meanwhile, two persons were arrested with Yaba tablets in a separate operation and handed over to a mobile court, one was sentenced to 21 days and the other to 30 days.

During the operation, 5 pieces of Yaba tablets, 500 grams of ganja and 20 liters of liquor were recovered.

According to police sources,Cases under relevant laws are pending against those arrested.
