Goats are killed for feeding grass in Ashulia, women are also killed for asking 

A person named Ali Sarkar (55) has been accused of hacking a woman named Rupban Begum (45) to death for eating goat grass in Tajpur area of Savar Ashulia.

Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Tariqul Islam confirmed the matter on Saturday (June 6) afternoon.

Earlier in the morning, the woman died while undergoing treatment at Pangu Hospital in the capital.

The deceased is the wife of Joynal Sarkar of Tajpur area of ​​Rupban Begum Ashulia.

The accused is Ali Sarkar, the son of the deceased Sultan Sarkar of that area.

Police station and locals said that last Thursday morning, a goat belonging to Rupban Begum went to eat grass in Ali Sarkar’s yard. At this time, Ali Sarkar killed the goat. Later Rupban went to ask Ali Sarkar about the goat. At this time, there was an argument between them. At one stage, Ali Sarkar ran away with a sharp knife at Rupban’s feet. Later, people from the neighborhood came and rescued him and admitted him to Paralympic Hospital in Dhaka. He died there while undergoing treatment.

Jamgra police outpost sub-inspector (SI) Abu Talib said in this regard.A case has been filed in this incident. The accused is absconding since the incident. All efforts are on to arrest him.
