A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil was held in remembrance of the May 5 Shapla Chatwar incident in Panchari of Khagrachari. Today, Wednesday (May 6) at 9:30 in the morning, this program was organized by Hefazet Islam Panchari branch at Shahi Jame Mosque in Panchari Bazar.

Maulana Kari Abdul Quader Maher recited from the Holy Quran at the beginning of the ceremony. Maulana Shabbir Mahmud (Rashidi), the president of Hefazat Islam Panchari branch, attended the meeting as the chief negotiator.

Speakers in the discussion meeting said that the martyrdom of Tamanna on May 5 will remain forever in the hearts of the Islam-loving Tawhidi people of this country. Those who gave their lives to protect the dignity of Islam, their sacrifice will not be allowed to go in vain. The speakers were inspired by the ideals of Islam and urged everyone to be united in the service of the country and the nation.At the end of the discussion meeting, Khatib Maulana Dalilur Rahman of Central Shahi Jame Mosque, Panchari Bazar conducted special prayers and prayers. Prayers were sought for the souls of those killed in the May 5 incident and for the peace and prosperity of the country and the Muslim Ummah. The event was attended by local Ulema Keram and devout Muslims of all walks of life.
