The body of an unidentified person was found near the Indian border

The police recovered the body of an unidentified person from Kamalla village of Munsirhat Union of Fulgazi, Feni, bordering India. The body was recovered on Thursday morning.
According to police sources, locals found the dead body lying south of Miachan Huzur’s chicken farm on the west side of the house of former UP member Janu member of Kamalla village. Later, the police recovered the body around 6:45 am.

SI Mohammad Hossain of Fulgazi Police Station said that none of the locals could identify the identity of the deceased. According to the police, the age of the deceased is 45 to 50 years. After the recovery of the body, initial attempts were made to find out his identity, but no information was found. At the scene, the police prepared a report on the condition of the body.

Feni Assistant Superintendent of Police Nishad Tabassum said,The spot is about 150 yards from the Indian border. Locals saw the body and informed the police. However, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed so far. The matter has also been informed to the Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) and a photograph of the body has been sent. PBI is going to the spot for investigation. Necessary legal action will be taken after their investigation.
