Indian sarees of 60 lakh rupees recovered during 10-BGB operation on the border in Comilla

Border Guard Bangladesh has seized a large quantity of illegal Indian sarees in a raid at the Nankara border of Comilla Chouddagram (10 BGB).

A patrol team of Comilla Battalion (10 BGB) conducted the operation in the early hours of Tuesday (May 5).
According to BGB sources, a patrol team of Anandpur BOP under 10 BGB launched the operation as part of anti-smuggling and anti-narcotics operation in the border area. At approximately 4:30 in the morning, these Indian sarees were recovered without owners during a search at a place called Nankara, 100 yards inside the border. The estimated value of which is 60 lakh 35 thousand taka.
Comilla Battalion (10 BGB) said,Such operations of BGB will continue regularly to suppress illegal smuggling and cross-border crime. The seized goods are being submitted to the customs authorities as per the rules.
