
Out of 5 constituencies in Narsingdi, 4 constituencies were nominated by BNP
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has released the list of potential candidates for 237 parliamentary seats ahead of the upcoming 13th National Assembly elections. Yesterday (03 November) in a press conference at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, the party’s general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names of party candidates. Tarek was the acting chairman of BNP earlierThe standing committee meeting of Rahman’s leadership team was held. There the initial list of party candidates was finalized.
Among them, Khairul Kabir Khokon, joint secretary general of BNP and district BNP president and former member of parliament, has been nominated for Narsingdi-1 (Sadar) seat.
Narsingdi-2 (Palash) Constituency has been nominated one of the members of the BNP Standing Committee and former Minister Dr. Abdul Moin Khan.
Narsingdi-4 (Manohardi-Belab) constituency has been nominated in the districtBNP Member and Former Member of Parliament Advocate Sardar Sakhawat Hossain Bakul.
Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, co-editor of science and technology affairs of the central committee, has received nomination from BNP in Narsingdi-5 (Raipura) seat.
On the other hand, BNP candidature in Narsingdi-3 (Shibpur) seat has been suspended as the party has not announced any name so far. However, it is not yet known why the name of the candidate has not been announced.The Shivpur Trinamool feels that the party chief is hoping to announce a suitable and acceptable person as a candidate for Narsingdi-3 seat soon.
